This is an easy, fun holiday treat that reminds me of the big tins of candied popcorn that my grandparents used to give me every Christmas.  My version is free of gluten, egg, soy, peanuts and tree nuts.

  • Ingredients: 6 cups popped popcorn
    1/2 cup sugar
    3 TBSP water
    1 tsp butter
    natural food coloring of choice
  • Cuisine: American (general)

  • Special ingredients: no dried fruits, no fresh / raw fruits that don't get cooked by the end of the recipe, no fermented / pickled foods, no seeds, no beans / legumes / pulses, no dried / ground spices, no meat / poultry, no alcohol
