Hot Chocolate Lovers Cocktail

Hot Chocolate Lover's Cocktail Hot Chocolate Lover's Cocktail Gluten Free Bartender App
Get ready for Valentines Day, or any day that you want to treat yourself to something decadent.  This adults-only cocktail will warm you up!

  • Ingredients: 2 c GF whole milk, or milk of choice..(Almond, soy, low fat, etc)
    1-1/2 c GF dark chocolate semi sweet chips (at least 60% cocoa)
    1 oz Espresso
    Add 1 c GF red wine (we used Cabernet Sauvignon)
    Pinch of salt
    Top w/ GF whipped cream
    Top w/ GF choc shavings and cinnamon
  • Instructions: Directions:
    *ALL INGREDIENTS MUST BE GLUTEN FREE*
    In sauce pan...(on medium heat) Add milk of choice, chocolate chips, and espresso..heat and stir until choc. chips are melted..(do not boil) Once choc chips are melted, add red wine and a pinch of salt...stir in...heat for about another minute but don’t boil...
    Pour into mug... Top w/whipped cream, choc chips or shavings, and sprinkle on cinnamon...
    (Optional: for a fun taste boost, add gluten free toffee chips or bits)
