This is a warm apple compote with the rich flavour of Calvados that's just as good on pork chops as it is on pancakes.

  • Ingredients: 2 large apples, cored and sliced thinly
    1 TBSP dairy-free or regular butter
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    2 TBSP Calvados
    1 TBSP water
    pinch of salt
