SunButter Gluten-Free Oatmeal

Start your day with a filling, delicious bowl of this SunButter Gluten-Free Oatmeal. Customize it with berries, banana slices, raisins, cinnamon and other toppings to fit your cravings and what’s on tap for your day ahead. We recommend an extra dollop of SunButter on top, too!

  • Ingredients:
    1 c. gluten-free steel cut oatmeal or oats
    2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 Tbsp. SunButter
    Fruits (dried, frozen or fresh), sunflower or other seeds, and another 1 Tbsp. SunButter for toppings
  • Instructions: Set a saucepan over high heat. Pour in the water. Add the salt and vanilla extract.

    Measure out the oats (we used 1/2 oats; 1/2 steel cut oats).

    When the liquid mixture boils, pour in the oats and stir.

    When the mixture returns to a boil, turn the heat down to low. Simmer, stirring every few minutes, until the oats are creamy and the liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes. Stir in SunButter, pour into bowl and top with your favorite fruits, seeds and another dollop of SunButter!
