SunButter Date Smoothie is a quick, filling, easy nut-free meal or snack.
Smooth SunButter and sweet natural dates combine in this energy-packed nut-free smoothie.
Ingredients: 1/2 c. frozen yogurt (we used vanilla) 2 Tbsp. SunButter 1 or 2 dates, diced (don't forget to remove the pits!) - if desired, save a few for garnish 1/4 c. milk Optional: 1 scoop protein powder and/or whipped yogurt
Instructions: Place all ingredients in blender. If desired, add a scoop of protein powder for a perfect post-workout meal.
Blend until smooth, pour into glass, top with whipped yogurt and a few more date pieces if desired.
Special ingredients:no fresh / raw fruits that don't get cooked by the end of the recipe, no fermented / pickled foods, no beans / legumes / pulses, no dried / ground spices, no meat / poultry, no alcohol, no grains
