Healthy Ice Cream Sundae Bar Recipe

Ice Cream Sundae Bar Ice Cream Sundae Bar Zemas Madhouse Foods
A better-for-you ice cream sundae bar made with easy-to-make homemade banana bad ice cream flavors. Dairy-free, vegan and nutritious-no one will know the difference. Madhouse kid-approved!

  • Ingredients: Healthy Sundae Bar Ingredients:
    1 package Mini Double Chocolate Cookies
    1 package Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies
    ripe bananas, sliced and frozen*

    Peanut Butter Maple Ice Cream Ingredients:
    4-6 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen*
    3 -4 T. peanut butter, almond butter or sunbutter
    2 t. honey or pure maple syrup(vegan)


    Strawberry Ice Cream Ingredients:
    4-6 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen*
    1/3 c. chopped frozen strawberries
    2 T. milk of choice(coconut, almond, cashew, etc.)


    Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Ingredients:
    4-6 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen*
    3-4 T. unsweetened cocoa powder
    2 T. milk of choice(coconut, almond, cashew. etc.)
    1/2 t. pure vanilla extract
  • Instructions:
    For each flavor, blend bananas in a food processor until they are creamy(this may take up to 7 minutes).

    Blend in any additional ingredients.

    Transfer to a freezer safe container and freeze until solid.


    Sundae Bar:

    Set up your different ingredients along with your frozen ice cream containers and have fun!

    NOTE:  The day before you want to make your ice cream, slice and freeze at least 8-10 bananas.  This will give you enough for at least 2 flavors.
