Want to help make freedible's dream to empower custom eaters and the eco-system that supports them a reality? Awesome! I created this group to have a place to provide updates about special opportunities for those who want to get more involved in the freedible project. Don't worry - signing up doesn't commit you to a thing, other than wanting to see us grow! All members (custom eaters, bloggers, brands & organizations) are welcome - please invite your friends! It has meant so much to me as I have seen each of you joined our "Friends of Freedible" group over the years: thank you for believing in our community!

Tonight I'm writing with some exciting news, and to ask for your help. As many of you have now seen in your inboxes (with announcements to come to more parts of our community this week!), we have just completed a major new update to freedible. This update helps us take a major leap forward, and lays the groundwork technically... Dear friends,

It has meant so much to me as I have seen each of you joined our "Friends of Freedible" group over the years: thank you for believing in our community!

Tonight I'm writing with some exciting news, and to ask for your help. As many of you have now seen in your inboxes (with announcements to come to more parts of our community this week!), we have just completed a major new update to freedible. This update helps us take a major leap forward, and lays the groundwork technically for us to be able to roll out additional new features that I can't wait to share!

Most importantly, the purpose of this update was to allow us to start bringing into our own platform the incredible energy and genuine relationships that we see at our Twitter parties and in the genuine desire to help one another that we see in all of the content that our members have shared. For those of us who've been fortunate enough to meet and spend time together in person, we know the value of having found our "tribe", and knowing of those friendships helps to sustain us everyday.

Throughout the web, we see custom eaters crying out for this same kind of community, and for a 'big brother' or 'big sister' to help them through the challenges of a custom diet (especially a new one!). Thus, as we sat down to design this next evolution of the site, our goal was first and foremost to transform freedible from "just" the amazing content portal our members have created, to a content-rich hub where custom eaters can share their kitchen victories, doctor's office fails, questions and more, and where they too can find their tribes.

That, my friends, is where you come in! To make this transition happen, we need help from all of you to get the conversation going. This is easy to do - just please take a moment to follow some of our new Dibles and then post a comment in their activity streams to introduce yourself, share a favorite product or pose a question you'd love others to help answer. Freedible is a space for crowd-sourcing what works: let's put our crowd to work!

This time of year, I have loads of time and I'm on Twitter, Instagram, Freedibles, Facebook, Google+ and I have my blog! During the summer, not so much. I work/live at a Christian Camp full-time and that is our busy season. But I can do some stuff on the weekends then...
