What we make and how we make it
About Us: We are The Original Stone Mill, Since 1882. We are Family Owned, and proud to say that we make All our products right in Effingham, IL, USA. We believe that Good Food should be available to Everyone, without preservatives or "unpronounceable" ingredients. We also believe in Sustainability; we use wind and solar power, and are Non-GMO verified by the Non-GMO Project. We are committed to producing good food for your family.
About our products: We start by sourcing the Highest Quality Whole Grains (from the U.S. as much as possible), then we Stone Mill them at our facility in Effingham, IL. These Stone Milled Whole Grains go into our Flours, Pastas, Baking Mixes, and other products. Our Gluten Free products are Certified by the Celiac Support Association; they test at 5ppm or lower. That's 75% lower than required by the FDA's regulations. Over 80 of our product lines are Verified Non-GMO by the Non-GMO Project, and there are more to come.

We have a separate facility for our Gluten Free Products. Our Gluten Free Products are routinely tested in house and are certified by the Celiac Support Association at 5ppm or lower.
