Healtheir Homemade Marshmallow Ghosts Healtheir Homemade Marshmallow Ghosts Eat Your Way Clean
Halloween is full of treats, but not always the healthiest or safest treats for kids with allergies and food intolerances. Try this fun make-at-home version of marshmallows with the kids. You only need water, honey and gelatin to make the marshmallows and there's even a chance for the kids to get some marshmallow fluff. A great way for kids to participate in making and appreciating homemade treats that may be more safe for them.

  • Ingredients: honey, 1/3 cup water, 1/2 cup, divided salt, 1/8 tsp gelatin, 1 1/2 tbsp (2 individual 1 oz packets)
  • Instructions: Making Marshmallows is simpler than you'd expect! Mix honey, salt and water on the stove at a low boil until they reach crystallize in old water. Whip int the softened gelatin until thick peaks of marshmallow fluff form. Spread evenly in baking dishes and let dry overnight. You can cut these marshmallows into the perfect Halloween treat! Instead of cutting the marshmallows into the typical square, cut them into ghosts! Add chocolate chips for the eyes and mouth and you have a homemade, under 5 ingredient and refined sugar free marshmallow ghost!
