A light and refreshing salad featuring garden vegetables that's perfect for those summer BBQs!

  • Ingredients:
    2-3 fresh tomatoes, thinly sliced
    1 large cucumber, peeled and sliced
    4 large fresh basil leaves, cut into thin ribbons
    1 Tbsp olive oil
    1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
    1 tsp sea salt
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1/4 tsp thyme
    1/4 tsp oregano
  • Instructions:
    In a small bowl, combine oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, thyme and oregano. Whisk until blended. In a serving bowl, combine cucumber and tomato slices. Pour over dressing mixture. Sprinkle over basil pieces. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until ready to serve.

    Save time! Use a pre-made dressing. Italian, Basil or something similar would work. Try out Tessemae's Green Goddess dressing. It works great in this recipe!
