Lazy Mushrooms Lazy Mushrooms Yvonne Briggs
I came up with this without any planning. Just based on what I had in the fridge. I was hungry but was feeling lazy so there isn't much prep work.

  • Ingredients: 4 oz pre-sliced white mushrooms
    4 fresh sage leaves
    1/8 teaspoon onion powder
    dash of sea salt
    2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Instructions: In a small pan heat up the coconut oil on medium heat. Put the fresh sage leaves in whole and fry for about 10 seconds, till you can smell the sage. Add the mushrooms and stir. Add the onion powder and sea salt, stir. Keep stirring occasionally. The mushrooms will absorb the coconut oil and the pan will get dry. Don't be tempted to add more oil. After a few minutes the mushrooms will release their juices. Cook the mushrooms for 20-30 minutes, or until the mushrooms reach your desired softness. Serve and enjoy!
