Ten Tips on How to Keep Kids Gluten Free at School this year

Keeping with our back to school theme this week. I’m answering a question any parent with a school-age child is asking this month; “How the heck am I going to make sure my kids don’t get “glutened” at school? I’ve spent the last couple of weeks pondering that question and I think I’m ready to lay down my strategy for this year!

Some people may just say “My plan is to pack their lunches and snacks. Duh.” and while this will of course be on my list of ways to keep them safe there’s some things you may not have considered yet. I can’t count the times since going gluten free that I didn’t have the forethought to prepare for a situation where my gluten and corn allergies might have presented a problem.

I’ve compiled a list of the top 10 things we can do to keep our kids gluten free at school this year!

You can find all the tips at my blog
