A creamy, fall soup with the flavors of maple and fresh herbs.

    olive oil
    salt and pepper
    4 Tbsp butter (or additional olive oil)
    1 onion
    2 cloves garlic
    2 sprigs fresh thyme
    4 fresh sage leaves, chopped
    5 cups chicken broth (vegetable stock)
    1 tsp maple syrup
    1/2 cup whole milk (or milk of you choice)
