Mothernova's Slow Cooker Navy Bean & Ham Soup

Looking for a warm and yummy soup for these cold winter days? Here's a family favorite that's free of dairy, egg, peanut, nut and soy!

  • Ingredients: Leftover ham bone
    2 lbs navy beans
    Water (enough to cover everything about an inch)
    1/2 tablespoon salt
    1/2 tablespoon pepper
  • Instructions: 1. Soak 2 pounds of navy beans in cold water overnight.

    2. Drain beans and place in crock pot with ham bone.

    3. Add water to pot, covering everything with about an inch of water on top.

    4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

    5. Cook in crock pot for about 8 hours on high temperature.
