Dear *|FNAME|*,

As I wrote to you last week I was heading off to BlogHerFood in Austin, Texas - an amazing experience that I look forward to telling you all about next week!

For today though, I want to take a moment to honor two of the most important men in my life: my two dads.  This week's blog post started out with random musings about what I could get them that would go beyond your typical Father's Day gifts.  Somewhere along the way, I got distracted by a great big grin as I thought about how all four of my parents are playing a huge part in supporting freedible - and, as I thought about it, the roles they each played in making me the woman that decided to try to start it.

Of course, to really do justice to all that would take a book, not a blog post.  So I decided, as a Father's Day gift, to honor some of the contributions my two dads in particular unknowingly made to the genesis long ago of what is freedible today.  I hope you enjoy, and that it inspires some musings of your own.

And to "Dad" and "Ken", thank you - and Happy Father's Day.

Happy Eating,
Cheryl

A Tale of Two Fathers and an Office Crowded Just RIght
This week’s post is on a much more personal note than most – Sunday is, after all, Father’s Day.  When it comes to Dads, I’m doubly blessed. I am very close with my father, despite not having grown up with him, and gained a pretty unique step-dad when I was ten.  The two are a study in contrast – and yet together they had a tremendous influence on the “what” and the “how” of the great big dream that is freedible.
