I've always dreamed of creating a beautiful gingerbread house to display during the holiday season. To be totally honest, that dream hasn't come true due to lack of decorating skills and time, but this year is different. This year I WILL
build a gingerbread house. As I started my search for the perfect gingerbread house kit, I quickly realized that many of the houses I was researching contained wheat, which is a no-no for me. Add in a nice warning about possible cross-contamination of nuts, and neither myself or
my husband would be able to eat our beautiful creation.
For a moment or two, I thought about simply purchasing a kit to make and display, but then I was reminded how fun it was as a child to eat the creation, and I had a mission. Find the best nut-free, dairy-free, gluten-free gingerbread kits. Spoiler alert: I was successful. From gingerbread houses to pretzels cabins to veggie lodges and edible trees, the options I found are endless. Just call me the allergy-free elf.- See more at: http://theallergyfreewife.com/#sthash.awdFBLw8.dpuf
